I
am Peter Rigg,
aged 65 and living in Keswick. I'm retired, and spend a lot
of
time walking the fells - although, as can be seen from my walks
website,
almost all of
the walks have recently been local to the Keswick/Braithwaite
area. It's probably because I'm lazy by nature, and why get
in a
car when the fells are on your doorstep - but now the time has come to
venture forth more widely (and support a great charity at the same
time).
Samba and Sophie are going to be my constant companions on the walks, as they have been for many a year. They are lovely dogs, and you can read all about them here.
This is a recent picture of the three of us in one of our favourite places: Coledale, in front of Skiddaw. Why don't you come and join us on one of the walks, if you are in the Lake District later this year? Email me if you are interested.
