This is the path from Dale Head, on the far left, to Robinson, whence the picture is taken. You can see the Honister Quarry buildings on Honister Pass, in the centre of the picture.
Slightly further along the path towards Dale Head. You can see the high central fells beyond Fleetwith Pike, the dark fell in the middle distance (which incidentally is honeycombed with tunnels from the old slate mines). The central "mound" is Great Gable, in front of the ridge from Great End on the left to Scafell Pike. Lingmell is behind Great Gable on its right.
The view from the top of Robinson, looking north-east up Newlands towards Keswick and Blencathra.
This is the way up Robinson from High Snab Bank and Newlands. A little scrambling is involved.
