Lake District walks - Loft Crag

Harrison Stickle, looking east from near Pike of Stickle. Pavey Ark, insignificant from this angle, can be seen to the left

Pike of Stickle from near Loft Crag, with the high central fells in the background.

Here are two views of Loft Crag as seen from Pike of Stickle.

This is the view west from the Pikes: the scar up from Langdale to the mid-right is the path up Rossett Gill, one of the ways up Bowfell. Hidden behind Bowfell are the 3,000 foot peaks of the Scafell Pike range. The hump of Great Gable can be seen in the distance. To the right is the path leading over Stake Pass down Langstrath to Borrowdale.

Harrison Stickle above Stickle Tarn, as seen from Loft Crag. In the distance is the Helvellyn ridge, with Fairfield to the right.
