Around Derwentwater

This is soon after starting down the Borrowdale Road from Keswick. Looking south, with the lake hidden behind the trees.

Here we are down on the lake-side, looking north to Skiddaw. One of the launches is in the foreground.

Just a little further along the lake, looking south into the "Jaws of Borrowdale".

On the western side of the lake now, looking across to Blencathra framed between Walla Crag, on the right, and Latrigg, on the left

On the road near the Swinside Inn, looking south to Catbells, on the left, Maiden Moor in the centre, and Hindscarth on the right

Beyond the Swinside, looking west to Causey Pike and Sail, with Barrow on the right.
