Lake District walks - Around Grisedale Pike

Like the waves of the sea!

This is the view from near the top of Grisedale, taken in the week before Christmas. The nearest wave is Outerside, then Causey Pike, then Catbells, then Walla Crag and High Tove, then the Helvellyn ridge. The little triangle near the left hand edge of the furthest ridge is Catstyecam, with Helvellyn on its right. The Helvellyn ridge is the longest in the Lakes, and a great walk.

East from Grisedale Pike

On the same day in December, this is the view east from near the top of Grisedale.
